Review: MiNi DV Camera

Hi all,

I thought that I'd make a review on this mini camera that I had purchased in the beginning of Summer.

This is pretty much it.
It is not HD or anything, but it's pretty decent for it's size and price. (Bought it for around €10 off of eBay).

You have the view thingy, the mode and on/off.

To switch it on all you do is press the "ON/OFF" button until you see the light, and to switch it off just keep pressing the button until it switches off.

When taking a photo you need to keep it at a distance because if you look through the hole as a 'normal' camera, it's really blurry.

The modes that this has are: Video, Photo and Audio.
Video is Red, Photo is Blue and Audio is both colours.

To change from mode to another all you have to do is press the 'MODE' button.

The camera from the top.

It also has a mini SD card slot.

I recommend you own one before buying this camera as it doesn't really store anything in it without one.

And this here is where you plug in the USB charger or the battery charger.
Yay!

These are the main things there were in the package. It also had a strap but I have no idea where I placed it, typical me!

The top thing is the battery charger. You put in an AA battery, plug it in the camera and you can charge it wherever, whenever you want. It's pretty neat! It also lights up when it's charging.

The first USB cable is a 'Transfer Data Cable'. It doesn't charge the camera.

The second USB cable is a 'Charging Cable' for charging the camera. You cannot use it to transfer stuff on the computer.

I know which is which because of the stickers, ha ha!

Anyway, you probably now want to see how it takes pictures aye?

See how small it is?
It's smaller than a matchbox.

And here's a photo I took with it

My lovely model, Lady.

Takes pretty decent photos, no?

And here's how the videos look:

It's actually bigger but I trimmed it because the date is set to 2007 and I didn't bother changing it.
(It's a long process for me haha!)

It's not that bad of a quality, aye?

I removed the sound from the video because the car window was down and all you would hear is the sound of the wind and let's face it, it's one of the most annoying sounds in the world.

I don't like how it records the sound, because it can sound really muffled.

In conclusion, I was pretty impressed with it to be honest because I expected it to be somewhat worse.

So if you'd want one, I'd say buy it. It's a nice thing to own and let's face it, it's pretty darn cute for its size.
